Venom Motorsports Canada ships ATVs, dirt bikes, motorcycles, scooters, Mini Jeeps, electric vehicles and replacement parts across Canada from our facility in Greely, Ontario.

Complete vehicles are normally shipped in protective crates using a freight carrier. Smaller products and replacement parts may be shipped using a parcel carrier. The exact carrier and service are selected according to the product, destination, shipment size and delivery option chosen during checkout.

This page explains how order processing, freight-terminal pickup, residential delivery, tracking, delivery inspection and assembly work.

Shipping options at a glance

  • Free freight-terminal pickup: Standard vehicle orders are shipped to the nearest assigned Day & Ross terminal for customer pickup.
  • Residential or business delivery: Available for an additional charge when selected during checkout.
  • Parts and smaller items: Shipped by parcel carrier with tracking.
  • Tracking: Sent by email once the carrier has picked up the shipment.
  • Delivery inspection: The crate and packaging must be inspected before signing.

How Vehicle Shipping Works

1. Order Confirmation

You will receive an order confirmation at the email address entered during checkout.

2. Order Preparation

Our team prepares the vehicle, verifies the order and completes the required pre-shipment inspection.

3. Carrier Pickup

The shipment is released to the selected freight or parcel carrier.

4. Tracking

Tracking information is emailed after carrier pickup and may require time to become active.

5. Delivery or Pickup

The carrier contacts you when the shipment is ready for terminal pickup or residential delivery.

Current Order Processing Times

Processing time is the period required to prepare the order before carrier pickup. It is separate from transportation time.

Order type Typical processing time before shipment
Partially assembled vehicle Approximately 2 to 3 business days
Fully assembled, inspected and tested vehicle Approximately 3 to 5 business days
Replacement parts and smaller items Approximately 1 to 3 business days

Processing times are estimates and may change because of sales volume, inventory availability, assembly requirements, quality-control findings or unusual order conditions.

If a vehicle does not pass the required pre-shipment inspection, Venom may delay or refuse shipment until the concern is corrected. If the same product is unavailable, the customer may be contacted regarding available alternatives or another resolution.

Free Day & Ross Terminal Pickup

Standard vehicle orders are shipped free of charge to the customer’s nearest assigned Day & Ross terminal for pickup.

Once the shipment arrives:

  • The carrier will contact the customer using the phone number provided on the order.
  • Photo identification will be required at pickup.
  • The name on the identification should match the shipment information.
  • A suitable truck, van or trailer may be required because powersports crates are large and heavy.
  • The customer is responsible for safely loading and transporting the crate after pickup.

Terminal Storage

Day & Ross currently provides two business days of free storage after the shipment is available for pickup.

Storage charges may apply when the shipment is not collected within the free storage period. Any carrier storage, rehandling or related charges caused by delayed pickup are the customer’s responsibility.

Plan ahead: Do not wait until the shipment reaches the terminal to arrange a suitable pickup vehicle or trailer.

Residential and Business Delivery

Customers may choose delivery to a residential or business address for an additional charge when that option is available during checkout.

Residential and business freight delivery is normally scheduled:

  • Monday through Friday.
  • Between approximately 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
  • During an appointment window arranged by the carrier.
  • With a recipient available to inspect and sign for the shipment.

Weekend delivery is not normally included.

What Residential Delivery Includes

Standard residential freight delivery generally moves the crate to the threshold or first dry area of the delivery location, such as a garage entrance or covered area, when accessible.

Unless specifically confirmed in writing, residential freight delivery does not include:

  • Uncrating the vehicle.
  • Assembly or mechanical setup.
  • Moving the vehicle through a house or building.
  • Removal or disposal of the crate and packaging.
  • Driving the vehicle into a garage.
  • Delivery over unsafe, unpaved or inaccessible areas.

Delivery Access Requirements

The customer is responsible for confirming that the delivery location can safely accommodate a large freight truck.

Additional charges may apply for extraordinary delivery conditions, including:

  • Remote or limited-access locations.
  • Locations outside the carrier’s normal service area.
  • Long private roads or driveways that cannot accommodate a freight truck.
  • Construction sites, farms, camps, islands or restricted properties.
  • Second delivery attempts.
  • Storage caused by an unavailable recipient.
  • Incorrect or incomplete delivery information.

Contact our sales team before ordering when you are uncertain whether your address can accept freight delivery.

Parts and Smaller Product Shipping

Replacement parts, accessories and certain smaller products are normally shipped by parcel carrier rather than freight.

Venom may use carriers including UPS, Purolator, DHL or another available service depending on the destination, package size and service requirements.

Parcel tracking will be emailed once the shipment has been processed and picked up by the carrier.

Tracking Your Shipment

Tracking information is sent to the email address provided during checkout after the carrier picks up the shipment.

A freight or parcel tracking number may require approximately 24 to 48 hours after pickup before movement appears in the carrier’s system.

Tracking activity may not update continuously while a freight shipment is moving between terminals. This does not automatically mean the shipment has stopped moving.

For delivery appointments, estimated arrival dates or terminal status, contact the assigned carrier using the tracking or PRO number included in your shipping confirmation.

Before Signing for Delivery

The customer must inspect the shipment before signing the delivery receipt or removing it from the carrier terminal.

Inspect the Entire Crate

Walk around the complete shipment and check for:

  • Crushed, bent or broken crate framing.
  • Punctures through the cardboard or wrapping.
  • Broken straps.
  • Missing panels or exposed vehicle components.
  • Damage to the pallet.
  • Signs that the crate shifted or tipped.
  • Fluid leaking from the package.
  • Visible scratches, dents or broken parts.

Take Photos and Video

Take clear photos of all sides of the crate before removing packaging. Photograph any area that appears damaged, crushed, punctured or tampered with.

Photos should show:

  • The complete crate.
  • The shipping label.
  • The damaged area from multiple angles.
  • The vehicle identification number when available.
  • The condition of the product before it is removed from the crate.

Note Damage on the Delivery Receipt

If damage is visible, ensure it is written clearly on the carrier’s delivery receipt before signing.

Do not write only “box damaged.” Describe the actual condition, such as:

  • Crate crushed on left side.
  • Metal frame bent.
  • Packaging punctured near front wheel.
  • Vehicle component exposed.
  • Possible concealed damage.

If the damage is severe and the shipment should not be accepted, write “Refused due to damage” on the carrier paperwork.

Do not sign a clean delivery receipt when visible damage is present. Visible freight damage that is not documented with the carrier may cause a damage claim to be denied.

Reporting Shipping Damage

Contact Venom Motorsports Canada immediately after delivery when freight damage is discovered.

Include:

  • Order number.
  • Customer name.
  • Model and colour.
  • Vehicle identification number.
  • Carrier name and tracking or PRO number.
  • Copy or photo of the delivery receipt.
  • Photos of the crate and packaging.
  • Photos and video of the damaged vehicle or parts.
  • A clear description of what was found.

Shipping damage involving body fairings or exterior panels must be reported within 48 hours of receiving the vehicle under the current warranty terms.

Do not discard the crate, packaging, straps or damaged components until Venom confirms that they are no longer required for the freight claim.

Missed Delivery and Redelivery Charges

Customers selecting residential or business delivery must be available during the scheduled carrier appointment.

If the carrier arrives and no authorized person is available:

  • The shipment may be returned to the terminal.
  • A redelivery charge may apply.
  • Storage charges may apply.
  • The carrier may require payment before another appointment is scheduled.

Carrier charges caused by a missed appointment, incorrect address, inaccessible location or delayed pickup are the customer’s responsibility.

Changing a Shipping Address

Contact Venom immediately when an address change is required.

Address changes requested after the shipment has been booked or picked up may result in:

  • Carrier reconsignment charges.
  • Delivery delays.
  • Terminal changes.
  • Additional residential or remote-area charges.

Shipping addresses cannot always be changed after carrier pickup.

Assembly and Pre-Delivery Inspection After Shipping

Most powersports vehicles are shipped partially assembled unless a full assembly service was selected before shipment.

Every vehicle must receive complete assembly, pre-delivery inspection and testing by a certified mechanic before operation.

After freight delivery, the mechanic should inspect:

  • Wheel and axle installation.
  • Steering and handlebars.
  • Throttle and brake operation.
  • Engine oil and other required fluids.
  • Tire pressure.
  • Battery and electrical connections.
  • Chain, belt or drivetrain adjustment.
  • Loose hardware caused by transportation.
  • Any concealed freight damage.

Even a vehicle assembled and tested before shipment should be inspected again after transportation.
