This means the controller will draw more current and require higher available amp hours to operate at its full potential. The stock batteries supplied with the ATV are capable of supporting the upgraded controller. However, because the new controller draws more power, the overall ride time will be reduced when using the original batteries. For optimal performance and ride time, we recommend upgrading to 26Ah batteries.
